MAY 2022 and JUNE 2022 Very eventful month! Tenth class exams were scheduled from 23rd May. Took classes and prefinals all through May. Small farewell was planned on 18th. Aditi's fest was on 13th,14th,15th. She and her friends made a small movie. It was supposed to be horror movie and they had done shooting at Alekhya's home. There was some issue related to it but got solved when their Chemistry sir asked them to put a disclaimer. She won prize at debugging. Her vacations started on 16th. We had planned a visit to Mahabaleshwar on 26th. She did not participate in her field work. But from 24th onwards my heart rate increased and my left arm started paining. I went for ECG on 26th and our plan got cancelled when we had done the packing also. Later Aditya sir told me that his left arm was aching. On Sunday ,we got his ECG done and blood test for sugar. Homestay at Chikmaglur We stayed at beautiful coffee estate named Foothills homestay at Chikmaglur. It is owned by Mr. SriKanth gowda ,Rakshit's father. We were welcomed by 5 daschunds, a pet country dog which was their boss and 2 more dogs in the kennel. It was quite cool and was surrounded by hills on all sides. We had booked a family room. It was well maintained and good. There was a maid Sunanda and Mrs. Gowda. Nice couple. We had a tasty home cooked food. The place had positive vibes. There was an aquarium for fishes and one for a turtle. There was aTulsi plant on the east side that had a nice boundary around it. Next day we had tea, breakfast etc. but no lunch. So we had to go to the city to take lunch. While going down the way we saw a peacock, we stopped the car to take its picture. Chikmaglur trip
In Jan 2022, we were finally able to visit Chikmaglur!!! We had seen the place in Rocky and Mayur show. So tried to plan it in Nov. 21 in vain. Then Aditi's college had started. Her exams were supposed to be held in first week Jan. So we had booked tickets to Udaipur. But we had to cancel the air tickets and hotel booking as Covid was on rise. But we were getting restless as the whole world was moving and only we had remained in the house for almost two years. So we decided on Chikmaglur, in Karnataka. We booked a homestay Foothills there from 8th to 12th Jan but Adi's exams got postponed to 12 th Jan. We talked to the concerned person Rakshit to shift our stay from 14th to 17th. Again her exams got postponed and were to be held from 18th Jan!!!!!!!!! What to do now ????? We had paid advance also. So again hesitatingly we told Rakshit to prepone the booking. Anshu's Exam of AIBE It was held on 31st October at ICFAI university Shankerpally. As we were not sure of distance and location we went on 16th Oct 2021,to see the university. That part of city was never explored by us.We liked the location a lot. On the way we came across a very nice eatery , Tiffinet. On 31st ,we started at 7.30 in the morning to reach there in time. We had breakfast at Tiffinet . Then we dropped him at the centre. Afterwards we three went to explore the nearby places. We had heard about a resort Lahari, so we went to search it and were disappointed to find that it had shut down for good due to Covid. Then we just loitered here and there and came across a farm house which was 5 acres and for 48Cr..... After that we picked up Anshu and decided to go to Golkonda resort.But it allows entry only if you have prior online booking. Our Wedding anniversary, On 25th nov. we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Due to covid there were no grand celebrations. We booked a day's stay at Meridian Gachibowli.It was awesome for two reasons, first we had gone out after a span of one and half year to any hotel and second there hospitality was awesome. It was such a refreshing experience that I can't describe.We were scared to go out anywhere. I and Aditi enjoyed the terrace view which had a beautiful pool. The weather was awesome, cloudy and pleasant, with a little drizzle. Anshu enjoyed the food and overall it was a wonderful experience. It was on 19th Nov., that we went. It was the hotel's 2nd anniversary so we got a very good deal also. On 25th, it was a working day. In the morning we went to drop Aditi and Anshu to their colleges, then while coming back, we went to TTD temple.While coming back to school I got refreshment for teachers. Anshu bhaiya's AIBE exam He had applied for AIBE 15 but could not pay fees in time. THen applied for AIBE 16 which was to be held in March 2021. It kept on getting postponed and now its scheduled on Oct 31 ,2021. Keeping my fingers crossed for it. His second dose of covisheild vaccine is scheduled on 16th Oct.2021.
Anshu's timeline Anshu gave his final semester LLB exams in Oct. His result came by December 2020. We applied for LLM at Jindal University in Corporate law. He got a seat but by Jan BCI declared that LLM one year course is invalid. He had given LLM entrance also. He got rank 224 or so but did not get a seat in any college through counselling.I was quite anxious . I had a high heart beat 110/min in Jan. Bhaiya gave me some tablets to reduce anxiety. Then in Feb he got a seat in PLC in corporate law 2 year course. By March , BCI had taken a decision to allow one year course LLM for the year 2021. So now my dear son is pursuing LLM from two universities in corporate law!!!!!!!! Lets see if he gets some good placement. Praying to God.
School Started!!!! After lockdown in March 2020, the schools were finally opened in Sept 2021 from nursery to PG We took online classes on zoom in July and August.It was a good experience. Now again back to offline mode. It is more satisfactory than online mode. All the students and teachers are wearing masks and are taking proper precautions. Praying to God for a normal year and a happy ,healthy life for all.
Aditi's admission in Engineering college. Her exams got cancelled and marks of inter first year were duplicated for second year.She started preparing for EAMCET. Eamcet was scheduled on August 6th.She got fever in the last week of July.Did not study the entire week and gave exam. Her result was declared by end of August and councelling was scheduled in Sept.We had to go for certificate verification on 4th September.Same day we celebrated teachers day.I had completely forgotten that we were suppose to go.Suddenly Adi had stomach pain and as she came to lie down ,she realised that we had to go.We rushed to B.R. Ambedkar college for verification. She got some 16 K rank. Then we had to choose the options for colleges. We had given first six choices in Stanley Women's college of EN. and TECH. Ganesh Chaturthi was on 10th Sept. We went to buy Aditya's bracelet on 15th.Then we decided to buy a bracelet for Adi also as she will turn 18 this year. We went to buy her bracelet on 18...
Aditi's exams of inter second year have been postponed.There are speculations that exams may be cancelled.The New Era college ,started conducting online classes since April ,last year 2020. They conducted regular classes for full year with only break of one week at max. I think it was the longest academic year, but hats off to their teachers.Yesterday they have announced termination of online classes. So officially she has holidays with a burden that exams can be announced at any time in future. EAMCET is also postponed. India is battling the third wave of Covid 19. Lets hope we shall overcome.
Today that is 24th April 2021, is an official last working day for the year 2020-21 academic session.I gave salary to teachers.What an year! We conducted online classes ,online exams, for higher classes.For primary classes that is second to sixth, contact classes were conducted. Only half the people attended.Took exams in early April and distributed result. In the month of Feb. schools were declared open.The corona cases were very less at that time.Suddenly by mid March, there was a surge in the cases.So much so that lockdown is imposed in Delhi,Maharashtra and other states.In Telangana, night curfew is imposed. There is acute shortage of oxygen in Delhi. Many relatives are sick. I took my first jab of vaccine on first April. Aditya took on 6th April.We got fever for 2 days.Yesterday I attended the ratjaga of Deepa's daughter Kritika. Took precautions and wore double mask. On 28th March, dulhendi, morning we got the sad news of the death of Shobha ji. It was really shocking....

Ikebana Contest I participated in Ikebana competition and won SECOND prize .I used Tulsi leaves, Colocasia leaf and mint.
